Coincidentally, trade period finishes on my last day of work before holidays. I'm going to be sipping on some cocktails, toasting SOS and dreaming of a half forward line with Papley and Martin in it in Seminyak by Thursday night!

Certainly finding all this posturing challenging on the nerves, but I wonder how the actual players are coping?
Papley wishing to find a new home (for genuine reason apparently) and is left 'in limbo' due to another player's trade potentially impacting on his.
Is it possible that both players have been informed of an outcome and simply have to wait for this ridiculous post-3pm timeslot to have it announced?
FWIW, I have enough faith in SOS and the ITK posters to believe we will get our targets ... eventually!

I prefer the scenario where * trade Joe and Carlton get Papley, then Carlton beats * in an elimination final next year with Papley kicking 6.
