Fertility rates don't just drop overnight. Have a look at how high fertility rates are across Africa, many countries have unsustainable rates of above 5. It will be a long time before these to reach 2.1 which is the rate required to maintain a stable population. This is why Islam, and to a lesser extent Christianity, are going to see population explosions in the next 50 years. Worrying stuff.
