Honestly we should be 3 or 4 goals in front, possibly more. Dominated the game. 33-11 inside 50s. But this has a bit of a rope a dope feel about it.

Duffy is a genuine star. In a league where you don't see many clean easy chances, a player like her who can create something out of nothing is worth her weight in gold.

Nice win for the girls, although we weren’t at our best. Roxy looks a good sort, Mim will be good, Duff’s a star.

4 goals to Duffy is a great start to the season, Houghton and Roux also looking good.

Geelong wont be completely disappointed with that effort but a great start for Freo .

Except from her post match interview I can't see Duffy ever requesting a trade to the eagles!

Don't know how much the wind played into some of the skill slip-ups (hopefully it's just early season cobwebs) but jeez there's a lot to be excited about.

Roux might be one of the more unique footballers I've ever seen in terms of the role she's playing.
