No, it's completely legit.
The Port Adelaide Convicts were a founding team in the New Holland Football League in 1820.
Of course, they being the only team in the league, won the coveted Silver Shovel every year until 1870, when they joined the SANFL as the Port Adelaide Magpies. So the Maples retained the Convicts history and a new Convicts team was formed in the NHFL, which still continues today.
So add another 200 Premierships to their tally.

Never change, you numpties 😆😆😆

Have you stopped piddling in your pants.
It was not Port Adelaide who made the mistake .. It was the AFL online store .. you know, the one that sells all Clubs merchandise.

Matthew Richardson seeking explanation.
Did you notice that Port sales are No2 behind Richmond.

That’s only because all the confusion about when your club was founded creates collectors items.

There is no confusion, tis only non Port people who do not want to know the facts.
It is well documented that Port Adelaide was founded in 1870.
It is also well documented that Port Adelaide Club Inc. who played in the SANFL, (Magpies) is the Club that applied for, and got, the licence to play in the AFL.
This did not sit well with the SANFL. who still wanted a Port team in their comp, as Port were not going to have a team there.
So the Port Adelaide Magpies Football Club Inc. was formed, to play in their comp, but was not allowed to train at Alberton, with the original Port Club. They tried to split the Club.
Thank gawd this was rectified and now Port Are one Club again.

Nice. But its not the tuna, its carrying the rest of the Port flogs on the bay.

Kudos for flying the flag, but what a cluster fuqq that beanie is!!!
The beanie has been taken down by the AFL Lincensee. It was commissioned by the AFL Licensee not Port.
Thank gawd Matthew Richardson sorted that out.
Bet MMM are flustered posting it online now LOL.
Thought they were having a go at Port.
Big backfire LOL and same goes to anyone else, having a go at Port about it.

See you are still flogging that unauthorized letter as fact, which is not signed by Port's CEO, but an operations assistant.
A bloody operations assistant.. :poo:
Crow flogs will cling to anything about Port .. True or False.
Oh dear
Which Poort numbnuts?
1997, 1820, 1870 or the one with the Collingwood logo...ROFL

Why don't you ring the Port Club, and tell them they are wrong, as you know better than the Port Adelaide Football Club.
Wonder what answer a Crow flog like you would get. They would laugh the, you know, their, (whatever) off.
