Preview

Richmond went into their match against ladder leaders Geelong bottom of the table and running out of ideas. However an incredible Alex Rance -inspired performance which broke many fans' accumulators and caused TAB to say "Today, we were all Tigers fans" ensured that Richmond rose 2 places to 16th. They are still a distance from the top 8 but now there is hope for Coach Sterge

Collingwood started the season strongly but came into their game with a strong Hawthorn side off the back of 2 straight losses and sliding down the ladder. A good win in the Friday night clash brings them to 4-4, and with key forward Mason Cox high in the goalscoring charts, he will be key to their chances and for Coach ClarkeM
Key matchup: Shane Edwards v Brodie Grundy - Two elite ruckman face off in this battle, and the winner of this battle will largely decide whether Lynch can dictate things in midfield or De Goey will get the service he needs to make the difference.
