Demons skipper manangatang is another current player with surprisingly few degrees of separation from the Roys talisman.

Having debuted at the Furies in Season 24, there he would link up with the former Furies journeyman and S29 Dragons recruit fumbler, the pair enjoying two seasons together at the Hippodrome in S24 & S25, before the latter would eventually connect with Mobbs in S28 for a stint at BJO via the Royals.

I reckon three degrees might be the max...
Yeah for current players. There's a few trickier players out there that test the theory from the early days.

I've been here since S02 and played for 3 clubs, including the Roys which are a revolving door and the Mod Squad who spat players out everywhere like a machine gun. This is too easy. The "go-to" needs to be less of a league prostitute than me!

Okay, try it with Kaz (S01, Junkyard). Bonus points if you don't use Dingster.
Easy money.

Much loved clubman Kaz starred in his first 12 games with the Junkyard Dogs in S01, rubbing shoulders with future hall of famers like Dingster and, um, I'm sure there were others. Among his illustrious teammates from that fateful season was league stalwart and Las Vegas Bears founder hilly, a club favourite to this day. A 32 game teammate of hilly's was none other than hall of famer and 1 1/2 times Bears great Broken, who pulled on the Roys guernsey a whopping 256 times alongside the great man in one of the Sweet FA's most endearing and enduring partnerships.

Bonus points please. :thumbsu:

I come with homework.

daddy_4_eyes - Team Pump, S1
The Hitman - Idek, he just seemed like a controversial fellow - Probs Darkness Eternal
QT - Same thing, him and the Hitman were going at it - Titans actually
@Hawksfan5 - Darkness Eternal

Hopefully these players are obscure enough.

JT_the_Man :

Hitman is mis-tagged I think - pretty sure he no longer has an account here. He was indeed DE and didn't play elsewhere. If TheInjuryFactory can't connect him to me I'll be able to help out because one connection I can offer is that we met irl at a Bigfooty social footy match :D I can't recall for sure but there's some memory of daddy_4_eyes being there too!

I'm surprised QT was taggable, as he ought to be site-banned :)

Ok so these took a bit of work, mostly the graphics though if I'm being honest. :D

So let's start with daddy_4_eyes, inaugural Team Pump squad member.

He actually has a direct link to Mobbs, the two were premiership teammates with the Hurricanes in S02.

Then there's The Hitman from Darkness Eternal. Tag looks right from a little digging Mobbs, maybe a name change?

Well the mysterious DE original actually went on to notch 68 games at the Bears, alongside hilly, who shared a locker room with Wise Guy Sam, a teammate of Mobbs at the Roys for 35 games.

The next two players were another degree of separation away, but there is still a clear link through.

QT plied his trade at the Titans, where he pulled on the jumper on 29 occasions alongside X_box_X, who managed a league record 103 games for the club. He would go on to register a solitary game at the Wonders in Season 09, where he would share a locker room with Wonders games record holder and hall of famer ClarkeM, just half a season into his illustrious Sweet FA career. Clarkey was another to rub shoulders with S29 Demons recruit and Sweet FA journeyman Wise Guy Sam, who as we know was also a Roy teammate of Mobbs.

Now lastly, hawkfan5. Another Darkness Eternal player, the 31 game one club player is linked via The Hitman, who as we know spent time at the Bears with founder hilly. Now to mix things up a bit, the founder of the Bears revival and another hall of famer, pantsredacted was another to pull on the Bears jumper with hilly, and he spent time at the Roys alongside Mobbs back in S15.

So what you’re telling me is that I was one game at the Wonders away from finding someone?

FFS.

Holy moly that was a long time ago. I'm 36 now, i'm pretty sure I was only like 18 at the time as I didn't even have my first car yet so had to take the train to meet up with you all.

pacemaker was a fixture at the Wonders from S10-S12 for his 42 games, even earning vice captaincy of the team alongside club legend croweater 41. crowy lined up for 61 games with multiple Fred winning forward Mooch, who currently spearheads the Roys attack where he shares the BJO locker room with Mobbs.

Try Vooligan.
Vooligan gave his all in 35 games at the Demons, where he earned a reputation as one of the games' premier sledgers...

Hi DemonJim. Your team's crap, we're good? Amirite?

#ihavenoclue

Vooligan started and finished his career at Mt Buller as a one club player, pulling on the guernsey with Dees champion and present day interchange maestro Headless, who had the pleasure of sharing a locker room with the one and only Papa Juggs, who of course tallied 53 games of chudshake goodness in a stint at the Roys.
