Someone told me that Geelong was well impressed with Macreadie during the scratch match when they had him in their side. If we're going to be chasing one of Geelongs first round picks, Macreadie might be the person put on the table first.

Macreadie isn't even steak knives in a deal. he's going to be delisted and all teams are aware of this.

Anyone else open to trading this years first pick for a later pick in this draft and a future first? I feel there will be plenty of academy teams open to grabbing an extra first this year to bring in players in bulk. Maybe we do business with the Bulldogs?

Already go Kemp coming into the side next year - we might just want to delay bringing in another elite pick, with a more solid field of candidates and then still have a pick to use this year in around the range we go Philp last year.

I'd be hoping to see more of Cuningham in the side rather than Betts. I mean, Eddie is good, but Cuningham is starting to turn into a beast! Cuningham had 9 tackles against the paddlepops.

Murphy had 6 so not sure I'd base judgement of a players game by number of accredited tackles.
