I think very rarely in history have players successfully come out of retirement.

That’s exactly my thinking. For a low cost I’d be ok with it, but it’s a big gamble particularly at a time when we will likely have to trim the list and save costs.I think very rarely in history have players successfully come out of retirement.
Not a team mate’s GFDidn't he shag one of his teammates GF's? that's why he retired i belive.
Because he isn’t welcome. That’s why there was no fanfare around his departure. He is detested there from what I’ve heard. Why wouldn't he just nominate & back to Tiggers if true?

He’s still on their list.
Do tell.Because he isn’t welcome. That’s why there was no fanfare around his departure. He is detested there from what I’ve heard.
I’m not prepared to elaborate on the matter. Just rest assured he isn’t welcome back to Richmond.Do tell.
Not many have retired whilst so good and at his age without having already declined. Not many have done it.
Tim Watson came back and won a flag
Paul Salmon was a good pick up for the Hawks
Mal Michaeldrafted by the bombers. Stats wise had a better year then his premiership years at the lions.PLAYERCARDSTARTMal Michael

Salmon didn’t retire before going to the hawks, he retired after his time at the hawks. He took a year off and then came back and played 15 more games for the bombers.
Same with Mal Michael, he didn’t miss a year, he just announced his retirement from Brisbane, then decided to play two more years at Essendon. It was more of a Luke Hodge type scenario.PLAYERCARDSTARTMal Michael

Maybe comparable to Carey making a comeback at Adelaide after 12 months off. Not a world beater but finished in top 10 B&F and kicked a few goals. Not many have done it.

That is not how hamstrings work nor is it an accurate depiction of how Moore plays. His strength is straight line speed, but I've seen him run on angles all the time. How do you think he gets from contest to contest?
On another note.... is Gerald Healy ever going to turn up for preseason training?
Yeah, my understanding and memory was that he suffered almost the exact same number of injuries at both ends.He lives in a fantasy land where Moores hammies are only susceptible when he changes ends of the ground but only when we kick that direction. Apparently when he follows on defenders hammer and turns or zags with them the Hammies are under less duress lmao.
Apparently when you need to make up for reaction time with pace as all defenders often do throughout a game its less strenuous then timing your leads when you want!
Such an inane argument and ridiculous with no basis in reality. He has done hammies at both ends.
No we would be stupid to throw more money down the toilet.Big rumours Alex Ranceis making a comeback for season 2021. Pies would be stupid not to throw good $$ to lure him over. Settles our forward options with Darcy moving forward. The last 2 years at CHB Darcy would have notched a few more tools on the belt, and will no doubt be better for it at CHF.PLAYERCARDSTARTAlex Rance

He’s still on their list.
Wasn't there a new final list lodgement at the end of the supplemental selection period? I thought they'd used that final list spot left by Rance's late retirement to grab Stack?

No. He was genuinely retiring. Essendon coaxed him out of retirement by doing a deal where he was paid well, barely had to attend training and could miss some games throughout the year.Mal Michaelwas draft cheating. Pure and simple.PLAYERCARDSTARTMal Michael
