Training Preseason 2021

Hard to fault anything the club admin has done since 2017 and this isn’t a complaint but anyone else feel like a bit more content on preseason training would be nice?
Maybe it’s just me as I’m a Richmond nuffie but especially as the club had over 100,000 members that couldn’t go to training and games I feel as though a bit more content on the website would be good and not hard to do so members can feel some connection to the club.
I get that we don’t have to do chase members as much like other clubs but I think they could do a bit more in this space.
I know they post a lot of AFLW stuff but I think there’s room for both.

Not only a solid year in itself, there are so many good players that weren't drafted in 2020 who will be available. Silver lining it might be a super deep draft, right into the 3rd round where our picks are. Could be a rebuild of sorts coming up. I'd love to have another 10 years plus of contending. Here's a test of how well you are doing dealing with that "oppressive regime" that you mentioned and whether you truly live in a free and democratic household or not.

Do you have a Richmond poster in your marital/partner bedroom ?

I'm wearing her down.

And I'm still to use the old, "well, you did suggest I buy all those premiership posters" line. When she commented that the photos of said posters really don't do them justice, I knew the battle had turned my way.

Pffffft, who cares about the training? It’s all about who the coaches are banging.

I know this is a superdraft but we already have a lot of good players on the list for years and not getting (m)any games. We have a couple of players retiring gradually from 21, Houli (& Caddy needs to be traded.) JR & DA & Cotch will play until 23. Sheds, who knows.
If we lose this year then we would be more brutal with retiring players. Shaun Higgins got a second chance at 32. DA & JR might get better offers at other clubs.
I'm not a draft watcher but unless Ben King MkII is out there I'd use picks for trades

I think you under sell the Richmond of 67 -82
you didn't just waltz up on Grand final day and beat Carlton or North (74) , ask the team of '72 who were red hot favourites to beat Carlton
the strong clubs would look to the country areas and interstate to recruit talent , and those with money would park talent in the 2nds , they also looked to innovate to get an advantage over their opposition
they all had fierce pride

I had a woman ask "you're a Richmond supporter ?" back in 2017

Her uncle played Rugby League for Aust. and when finished playing went and studied in the US
when back in Aust Richmond got him as our physical conditioning guy ? late 60's early 70's , we were the side back then just as we are now
I think a flag was just as hard to win then as it now

Only for the weeks after a premiership. I put up the scarf etc until they get taken down.

Although it's a totalitarian regime where I submit to authority I get the watch games, drink beer and generally do most of what I want. But apparently Tiger posters on the walls is a step too far. I'll keep working on it though. Water dripping on a rock sort of thing. ;)
