Round 2 - Match Preview​

Well the time has come for arguably the match of the round. Not only does this match have two powerhouse clubs in the competition going toe to toe but it also has a big of extra spice with the clubs history and with the deflection of 2x Bombers leaving Abdu prison for the Wonders during the off-season. New co-captain Cadsky and underrated league poster ArdentEagle go up against their former club for the first time in what promises to be a mouth watering match up this Sunday evening.

The Wonders tasted victory in round 1 against the Dragons with the win a refreshing feeling for a club that finished last in S30 so the boys really enjoyed the victory and the showers after the match last night. The Bombers finished with the L in their round 1 encounter with the Warriors.

For the Wonders in their win last week, they were best served by dogs105 who kicked 5 goals up forward while Grand Uncle Horace and croweater 41 chipped in with 3 goals each to round out the Wonders victory. The Wonders kicked the most goals in the competition last week alone so their attacking game style certainly clicked against the Dragons. Through the midfield it was co-captains Cadsky and haydo who ran rampant against the Dragons outfit collecting 63 disposals between them while first gamer Off Tap and AngryRanga shared the load with 23 disposals each in what was a fantastic come from behind victory against the Dragons.

For the Bombers, their loss to the Warriors would have knocked them down a little however never count out a champion team. They were best served in round 1 by veteran iDon who kicked 3 goals whilst they had multiple goal scorers however it wasn't enough in front of goal to get the job done. LicoriceAllsorts had 26 disposals whilst Pugsley finished with 25 disposals and a goal to round out the Bombers best players from the weekend.
