I'm not convinced that it's that bad. In non-Covid times we would've flown over today and would've done a captain's run at the Adelaide Oval this afternoon, and stayed at a hotel until going to the game.

This time we've had our captain's run at home, have gone to the hotel tonight and fly out tomorrow morning.

Flying in the same day wouldn't be ideal but it's about the only difference.

Bucks and the boys (and the Board) really need a win before the bye to take a bit of media pressure off their shoulders. We won’t beat Melbourne next week so it’s all-in on this game.

Unfortunately our injuries and the disruptive fly-in, fly-out requirements make me think it will be Crows by a couple of goals.

I’m not usually negative but I’m struggling to see where any wins will come from, such is our malaise and never ending form slump. This season has been a dumpster fire in more ways than one. Won’t stop me watching and supporting though, looking forward to Elliott finally getting back on the park.

As an avid, life time Pies supporters, it pains me to say this, with internal issues, crap game plan, an average line up and a massive black cloud over the direction of the club, I have never ever been as disinterested in a match.
If I wasn’t in friggin lockdown, I might enjoy life somehow and avoid this sh*t show.

Do you think he will be given the 2 weeks whilst Grundy is out to finally show what he can do, finally gets a chance with the usually durable B.Grundy?

If he can actually ruck, you know the basic thing of tapping to a rover, then get a bit of the ball around the ground. Not a lot, just a bit.
Then we might have a real ruckman in the role of our last two Premiership rucks.
Unfortunately for him, the embarrassment that would reflect on both the board and the coach if they couldn’t play the million dollar “ruck” will condemn him to VFL.
Like the Captain of the Gold Coast, and his movement on from CFC, Lynch will be condemned to the VFL or seek opportunities elsewhere.
