Notes for Sydney fans (from what I noticed after my trip to Telstra Stadium)

When watching one's team live at the ground:

1. DO NOT applaud when your team kicks a point
2. DO NOT attempt to start Mexican Waves
3. DO NOT exit the ground when your team is three goals down with about ten minutes to play with said team coming home like a Bondi tram.
4. DO, however, turn up in droves like tonight. That was good :thumbsu:

Also, please make sure you know which game you are at, unlike the inebriated chap in the toilets after the game loudly chanting 'Carn The Pies'.

A good night out, all in all :)

Go watch and get back to me. Ta.

The ads where Barry Hall teaches people how to watch football. Admittedly I have no idea what happens at Subiaco coz I have never been there.

Yes, when one of you Eagles supporters admit you were apart of the mexican wave in last years semi.

Well, i wasnt there, but at least we were winning :o. The swans were getting belted when that stupid thing started going round tonight.

Do you clap when the Swans score a behind? How about those refs eh? You guys were just beaten by the final hooter.

Seriously though, I was a part of the Mexican Wave last year. I don't see anything wrong with it late in the game when you're flogging the opposition. A bit silly when it's only in the seond quarter and you're a fair way behind.

Well, i wasnt there, but at least we were winning :o. I mean, really, I should have checked to make sure my own supporters, at my home ground, haven't actually done the exact same thing. Thanks NitWit, for catching me out and proving me wrong:thumbsu:

Edited for accuracy. I own you. Goodnight.

Seriously dude, a last quarter belting of a team in the last game of the year you will play at home, during the finals and thus celebrating the season thus far, and getting belted in the second quarter in round one are a bit different, although I hate the wave either way, cricket, football, tennis or tiddlywinks.

Tonight it looked like they were simply trying to entertain themselves.

How is it different. You bag the Swans fans for doing the Mexica Wave, yet Eagles fans did the exact sae thing:confused:

I own you.
