I try not to let the commentators worry me, it makes watching the games so much easier.

For that reason I can cope fairly comfortably with the usual ones here who cop the most criticism - Christian, Walls, Maher and I didn't mind Eddie as a commentator either.

(Having endured Tony Greig on the Ch 9 cricket coverage for the past 25 years or so has provided excellent practice in this area I guess. )

Maher was craping on about the vision of Ben Cousins getting into a stretch limo in LA and how its not a good look considering all he is going through, then he says why don't they leave Cousins alone, and get on with the footy etc etc, then in the next breath he asks someone what they think of all this drugs in footy hoo haa, I mean wtf is he listening to the words coming out of his mouth or what?

People are extremely interested in all the drug stuff so he talks about it. People interested means extra ratings. It's his job to comment on topics of interest even if he personally believes that enoughs enough.

i don't actually mind radar. his interview with ricky nixon r.e. the lance whitnall ballarat blue last month was great. radar held his ground and didn't back down an inch while pubehead nixon started getty all raggy and throwing accusations and bitching left right and centre.
radar can crap on a bit now and then but he generally holds morning glory together.
just because he wears glasses doesn't mean he's a nerd or a dork and at least he hangs his nuts on the line occasionally to provoke an argument or some contoversy. how many BF posters can say they are male models or built like bodybuilders, more like fata.rse couch potatoes that drink iced coffee all day and eat donuts. w.ankers, wake up to yourselves, any journalist with any personality or opinion immediately gets howled down.
if you don't want this then listen to tim lane (if you can stay awake) radar originally started off as deep throat on sen when they did that segment a few years ago and most of those rumours proved to be true. he's beasically doing the same thing now but having the guts to put his name to it.

this is a ****ing stupid comment by a cocksmoking pindick.
if anything radar goes too over the top about afl, if listeners are crying out for more footy then read some of the other sen threads in the past numbnuts. most comments have been that too much focus is afl, he used to produce a lot of the football stuff that has been on tv or radio in the past so he does know his stuff. if this isn't enough afl for you knobjockey, then tune to another station and see if you can get even half of what they do on sen.
as for brownless, his stuff is getting a bit boring, judging by previous threads, most listeners agree.
