This result is expected to be fair but I think of Port can put the foot down and really drill the Blues they will have turned an important corner. They haven't played up to top form for some time. Last year's team looked hungrier and more dangerous. Haven't seen it come out much this year.

Port will definitely keep the flat track name but this is exactly what they needed to do. This is the type of win they needed ahead of finals. They'll cop an out of form Bulldogs team next week which is a win and loss. Better to face an in form top 4 opponent to really sharpen the iron but the poor Doggies form could be crucial for a top 2 finish and a home final.
