I am really warming to the idea of Vossy coaching us. He Will be hungrier than ever for success and would have learnt so much in his coaching journey thus far. Hoping he can reinvent Cripps and others like he did with Wines.

Also if Cook and Parkin select him this is good enough for me and I will be all in.

Hopefully the wait is nearly over and bring on the trade period.

Would have thought the bottles would be rocking around and clinking.
Having said that, a mate said that he felt it in one part of his house and his wife didn't in another part. He also said that a worker at the local Dan Murphys said that one half of the shop was rocking and the other half wasn't.
I just find the whole thing weird that I in a shop and totally missed it happening. Only knew about 15 minutes later driving in car listening to an interview of Josh Bruce I heard they mention an earthquake at end of interview and I'm thinking, WTF?

I got the the impression from listening to SOS on trade radio that the club moved away from the rebuild plan in a number of areas.

Gave the example that SPS was recruited as a forward-mid and was played out of position for 2 years. Then said when he got a go in the correct position had 34 and kicked 2 against the Dogs. Now he is at a loss trying to determine his value because of compromised development, although says SPS has to own it.

Looks like there was a lot of division about what the plan looked like!

Blame Cain.

The rebuild starts from the top.

He certainly has a lot of blame to wear for changing too much of staff that a consistent plan not stuck to. But, it must be remembered the board also changed the CEO to have him there. So they need to accept some of blame due to not allowing a stable environment be maintained. Essentially he was a marketing guy with a bit of the gift of the gab but in terms of the football side stuff he seems way out of his depth, just understanding what running a football club needs. They probably should have hired him for corporate finance area and not be CEO and a lot of mistakes could have been avoided. Anyway, too late now, damage was done, players hired on too big of contracts after change list managers and leave less room for talented youngsters grow on field and on contracts.

The good thing is Cook is here now and he actually truly knows how to run a football club and run a stable environment. Damage has been done but 85% can be fixed and get back on track within 12 months to where we should be on field.
I'm sure he will teach someone to take over his role in next three years and they get the best education that can be found to be a football club CEO.

A shame the earthquake didn’t flatten it.

I heard a few people saying this - didn't the roads do the hippy hippy shake at all?
Most of the movement is lateral, so in a car, that energy is dissipated through the tyres, in a house/building it's dissipated through the walls, hence the window shakes and wall cracks etc.

Looks like we may actually get our new head shifter of magnets in the form of Michael Voss.
He has to be better for the run at Brisbane and Port. More mature and experienced.
Watch his highlights again and ask yourself, would he take any sh!t as a coach? I think not. Thats a good start. I think we have some "pretty" footballers that need to be told a few home truths about effort, each week, every week. On that level alone he is a good fit.
