It certainly could, it depends on how much of that $4,000,000 he was signed to over five years was up front. I suspect quite a bit because losing Ablett was what greased the wheels financially for Weller to move.

Remember that lots of more mediocre talent doesn't equate to one player at the appropriate talent level for the pick.

This whole Geelong thing is ridiculous. A trade for Patrick Lipinski (23 and played more often and with greater impact than Clark) is being floated at pick 58 (admittedly by the suitor). And yet we're stuck with the pick for Clark apparently needing to be a late first rounder!

Cameron is not mediocre talent and is not being traded.

They want him to play interceptor in defense as he was for the Hawks late in the year.
