unable to watch our first match so this was my first exposure to the 2022 lionesses.

we have some lovely speed running around, and the pressure looks good still.

the tall stocks might be low-ish with the injuries (hopefully not another one today..), but our team mentality should hopefully shore up those weaknesses.


finally, how good of a debut was that by Izzy! a bit more composure in front of goal and she would've had an even bigger blinder. (few others had some silly misses, but that's alright )

That was an impressive all-round effort. Not many passengers if any.

O'Dwyer, Grider and Hickey looked to have improved again this year.

It is all about Zimmie (and fair enough) but Ruby Svarc did some nice things as well.

Nice win, some great debut's. Still plenty of imrovement to come also. Taylor Smith had the ice on the ankle after the game for those that may not have seen it.

Harf in his presser said we played the best he had seen any W team play. Being the losing coach he had to come up with something but I feel our linking n ball movement was pretty special.

It's funny, I don't think we were near our best, but our system - even when our players aren't at their best - is so hard to beat.

There were definitely more than 5 best. I had a hard time picking just 5. This is where being highly competent across the board can be a curse
