I'm ****ed if I know what changed. I said very early in season he'd basically signed. All agreed to terms.
Then he just stopped interacting with list management.
There's talk melb offered to move his family over, offered all sorts of compliments on top of the very generous offer. But he went from pen in hand to nothing.
I'm only speculating, but I'm wondering if it's had an impact on the playing group. Not the speculation, but the knowledge he's gone.

I’ve got no doubt it’d be deflating but this happens to all clubs. Just sucks losing him as we all know how much potential he has, and we won’t even get reimbursed to equal value of his draft pick which was only three years ago.

WA guys are weirdoes , im in a NFL fantasy league with 9 or 10 of them and they come across very defensive about their state.
Like they'll say Taberner is a shit player but if I say he's shit he suddenly isn't that bad..

You should suggest to them that the GST state splits should be wound back and see what kind of response you get.
You only have to look at the original WC song lyrics and its references to the east coast to get an idea of the mentality, although it’s softened a little bit.

I am really not worried if he goes. It happens all the time. Franklin left Hawthorn and they won two more flags without him. I am not saying he is Franklin and we are Hawthorn but there’s is a gist you’re supposed to get.

Thats a bad example. That happened because a single dominant player can hinder the performance of others in games, same as Danger and Ablett. Jackson isnt even close to that yet.

Gawn mentioned this in the media presser before, obviously that question was asked had he spoken to Jackson much, he said it's best that he just focus on footy and not think about anything else.
