On the overall game itself, excellent first quarter and excellent final 10 minutes apart from Howe's mishap. Essendon completely dominated us in the second and third quarter.

Clearances have been our major weakness all season and I struggle to see us rectifying it this year. I hope including JDG and Carmichael on a regular basis might help us here because it's preventing us from winning games by comfortable margins.

Had an Essendon lot behind me squealing and carrying on all day, kicking my seat, but I bit my lip all through the last 3 quarters. The real euphoria was being able to turn around after the goal and just show what it feels like to win a game of football Real bums in seats moment, their silence said it all
