Jonathon Brown said when Fly was appointed that the Pies have got an absolute ripper there and success will follow. That was ******* insane!
Elliott's goal after the siren will go down in Collingwood folklore. He's only the 2nd player in our club's history after Chris Tarrant (in 2003) to kick a goal after the siren to win us the game.
Further, it was our first ever win in those circumstances in Victoria as Tarrant's goal was in South Australia against the Crows. That was our first experience for most match day attendees, and the euphoria was akin to almost winning a flag. That was a special moment for everyone invested in the club.
On the overall game itself, excellent first quarter and excellent final 10 minutes apart from Howe's mishap. Essendon completely dominated us in the second and third quarter.
Clearances have been our major weakness all season and I struggle to see us rectifying it this year. I hope including JDG and Carmichael on a regular basis might help us here because it's preventing us from winning games by comfortable margins.
Shout out to Josh Daicos for what was arguably GOTY in the first quarter. It will be overshadowed by other events, but the skill and intelligence to kick that goal was out of this world.
9 consecutive wins. Not in my wildest dreams did I think we'd be top 4 at this stage. McRae is a genius for what he's produced with this group.
That’s an amazing stat,Ponsford, about us winning only twice after the siren.I really didn’t know it had happened so rarely in our history. Thanks for the information,That was ******* insane!

Real bums in seats moment, their silence said it allThis is the greatest post of all time.
I'm loving watching the whole last quaterI've already lost count of the number of times I've watched the replay of Billy's winning goal, each time with a huge smile on my face.
How about all you girls & guys?
Lucky your name isn't Johnny The Wad.The only downside of this performance for me is that I keep stabbing myself in the stomach each time I lean forward.
