Losing last week fair enough. Not yesterday. Not two close games in a row.

Now the pressure is on. Lucky we have Richmond this week.
Well that's purely fixturing isn't it? We just happened to have 2 consecutive games against teams playing their heart out for finals. And lost by a goal and a point.

Had we played Tigers in between and won comfortably, it likely wouldn't seem so bad for some.

We're getting those injured players back, most of our veterans have been managed, our young kids have played multiple games..

Excuse my impertinence in coming on your Board, but kudos to this statement.
The 50m infringement for apparently pointing at the scoreboard was the worst decision in the game, and there were a number of howlers. But that one was unforgivable. That bloke should be back in the VFL for the rest of the year.
Good luck for rest of season!
It was a shocker of a day by the umpires. The number of howlers that resulted in goals either way was as high as you ever to see.

Not fixturing. Losing to Fremantle was mentally weak. As well as physically. 22 points up at home is more than enough to hold on to.

It's a poor loss.

I don't think it's mentally weak, but I do think we, like a few other teams, haven't learnt the lesson from the last couple of years - you've got to try to score and can't just go into defensive mode - as when teams charge at you and you're just playing safe, they're going to score and you're not. It worked for us in 2023, but teams hadn't drilled a full on attack mode then - they have now.

You should head down to the club and tell the players they are mentally and physically weak sitting top of the ladder
Yesterday's loss was mentally and physically weak. Sitting top of the ladder has nothing to do with it. And we won't be top much longer playing like that. Brisbane and Adelaide would both roll us. Hawthorn could as well.

We need to be much better. There's tougher tests to come.

Fixturing as in we have Suns, Dockers, Tigers 🥴

If it were Suns, Tigers, Dockers with the same results including (hopefully) a big win against Tigers, I doubt it would seem so dire, was my point.

I'd rather have played Suns & Dockers at their absolute best now & learn from those losses now than in finals.

I strongly disagree there was any mental or physical weakness on our part. Our tackling & pressure rating certainly doesn't indicate there was. Both oppo teams played well. And credit to them.

I know what you meant. And it has nothing to do with it as I said. The loss against Fremantle was poor and inexcusable. It doesn't matter when it occurred.

playing like what? Like this? In fact playing like this would normally mean an easy 6 goal win. Add in the 6 players out and we’d have won by 10 goals.

Well were ****ed evidently so Ive thrown my car keys in the Suns bowl

We're ****ed. Absolute calamity has hit us a fortnight earlier than in 2023 when it wasn't until round 20 and 21 that complete disaster struck with a couple of losses.
