Rupturing the plantar fascia on your kicking foot would have minimal impact on kicking.

I said that before Gold Coast and some were saying that was a meaningless game. Yeah right. We had a 2.5 game gap not 4.5. All it took was one loss and we were already treading water.

Still got Lions, Hawks and Crows a very tough run home.

Yeah and now we’re not complacent with a huge gap to second we might see a return to the intensity of before. Ever since Fly said we’re secured a finals berth with 14 wins we’ve seemed half arsed

Excuse the intrusion, but fair to say we could say the same. The umpiring in general was not to an AFL standard, such a shame they have players and fans by the ba11s at times, bluddy infuriating.
Aside from that a cracking game to watch, hopefully see you blokes back there 💪🏻👊🏻

He didn't do much wrong, but it's a bit like the tagger situation - you lose a fair bit and it lets the opposition dictate position when you've got someone who just plays on his man and doesn't peel off to clog things up or impact other contests. It's more what we lost through Howe's absence and usual ability to impact contests.

You’ll have to give us some grace as whenever there is a slightly controversial end of game decision in our favour in a close game you’ve got neutrals with the pitchforks at the ready. But yesterday it went the other way and you wrestled momentum back after some dubious decisions (Sidey, Moore in the back vs yours a few min earlier, head high on Bolton diving on the ball). But whatever, that happens and I’m personally not the type to blame a loss on this stuff especially in h&a. Now if we meet in finals and it happens again I’ll get pitchforks of my own.

We lost our last 3 games by 3pts, 6pts, 1pt without a full side. A totall of 10 points. In all 3 games our set shot conversion rate was at 41%. IF and I know "IF" we were just at 50%, not 80% conversion, we win all 3 games.

On another note, I predicted GC will play their GC against the pies last week and then be happy to get bent over and lose by 10 goals the next week.
Voss kiced 18 goals for the year, He ended up with 6 in that game against the pies. He will never have another day out like this again.
Everything went right for Freo, they won by 1 pt.

Agree 100% - both sides were punished and the beneficiary of dodgy umpiring calls at key moments. Whoever lost the game was going to be cranky about the umpiring.

Which isn’t what that game deserved - it was a cracking game otherwise.

Excuse my impertinence in coming on your Board, but kudos to this statement.
The 50m infringement for apparently pointing at the scoreboard was the worst decision in the game, and there were a number of howlers. But that one was unforgivable. That bloke should be back in the VFL for the rest of the year.

The umpiring has been consistently poor all year for all games.

Thank goodness Greg Swann agrees, hence meeting with the umpires today on his first day in the job.

This is why I'm so in favour of oppo teams playing their GF against us.

I'd rather test ourselves in intense, high pressure situations as often as possible, rather than cruise through multiple easy kills.

Better preparation come finals time, imo.

A few percentage boosting matches scattered throughout the year are always welcome though 😆

Losing last week fair enough. Not yesterday. Not two close games in a row.

Now the pressure is on. Lucky we have Richmond this week.
