Would have Dow slightly ahead of what you suggest. Fisher about right. What's missing is valuation on Hollands. Here's mine:

Fisher - 30-40
Dow - 35-45
Hollands - 35-45.

Fisher+Dow = Hollands + pick ~35-40. Give or take.

May well pan out as Soapy suggests, but I'd still maintain that's a poor result. Not an Acres-level poor deal, just disappointing.

What I don't get is why some posters are valuing Hollands way above Fisher/Dow.
Hollands is contracted - I have him at a similar value to Fisher. Dow for me is hard to value very highly because he is uncontracted - not sure we have much leveage

Fine with that. Can change Hollands to a 30-40 range.

Dow's value is determined by where he wants to go - if it was to a Norf or a Hawthorn, we'd be stuffed, as they could use the PSD as a walk-out option. We'd be lucky to get a pick in the 50s if that was the case. But the Saints can't do that, they'll need to pay a relatively fair price - still probably lower than what he is worth, but would have to be around the 40 mark.

Age is also a factor, Hollands being younger adds to the value, but with Fisher being offered a 4 year+ deal, you would think trade values would be similar

If we want to assist Dow with landing at the Saints, just delist him

Yup. Not sure why we'd want to assist the Saints - even though we might want to help Dow. Force a fair price out of them, or let him go to the PSD.

Not sure I would go as far as pushing him to a PSD.

Think it builds confidence when other players are looking to join the club, that we are fair and reasonable when exiting players, especially with the likes of Dow

Why is that?
Hollands is certainly younger, but hasn't shown anything like as much as Fisher.
Fisher has been offered a 4-5 year contract from North, we wouldn't be offering Hollands close to that.

I get that we might just on-trade whatever we get for Fisher to get it done, but purely on values, we won't have done well.

We aren’t very good at this.

But Fisher should be worth more than enough to get Hollands.
A 3 way trade where we get Hollands, North get Fisher and Suns get a pick would have us feeling a little light on. Fine, but probably short-changed a bit.

To then get nothing for Dow would be wasteful. We'd be better off trying to trade one of our 4ths up to the Saints' 3rd. And even that wouldn't be much of a deal for us.
If Hollands was more in demand by other clubs than Fish, then his trade value could very likely be far greater.
Not saying we should pay it, but he's only 21?? and would have a bigger ceiling than Fish.
Dow, on the other hand has greater potential, but he's uncontracted and we're not prepared to play him. We'll get f**k all.

Main reason probably being that Hollands was a pick 7 only three years ago. Fisher is now 25 and clearly out-of-favour - also we get to lighten our load salary wise as a side benefit.

I could be way off and obviously I would prefer to get something extra but I just don't think these valuations are too different to what I would expect to pay for a similar player at another club.

Dow is worth nothing and fish not much to be honest … suprised north are giving him that contract … could play a similar role like Salem I guess and that’s how north see it

He did go at pick 7, but in a covid draft, and on the basis of his junior year pre-ACL. He's yet to show top 10 pick quality during his 13 games in 3 years as an AFL player.
He's also contracted, so the Suns clear some salary, just like us with Fisher.

Dow will go to St Kilda on a 3 year deal

Possible for Pick 31 and we give pick 39 (received for Fisher) back

We want solid some picks this year

I’ll be pretty pissed if this eventuates.

It means it’s this…
IN: Pick 31
OUT: Dow, Fisher, pick 39

Surely there has to be something else included in that, if not, we get hugely destroyed. Nearly giving the boys away for free.

They’re both worth a late second/ early third in their own right, IMO.

No, the proposal is we'd get 39 for Fisher.
It means Fisher + Dow for Hollands. So not quite what you've written, but still bad.
