Surely the experiment is over. I have been asking why he keeps getting selected for three weeks now. I still don't know the answer.
He was given a role by coaches ( not sure if he reached their KPIs) we shall see . reckon Freddie might be back and maybe Reef or Allan or God forbid :) McRae

What a great night to celebrate Pendles 400th. For the majority of the game we were relatively in control, perhaps helped by Carltons terrible set shot kicking. From my view on Level 4, I was quite confident that McGovern would miss. He never really looked like he wanted to take the shot. In fact, I'm pretty sure I saw the same demon that used to live in Travis Clokes head appear in McGoverns head. Was lucky to hit his boot in the end.

McCreery’s pressure huge. They were shitting themselves, and we looked much more threatening defending.

Underrated.

Hard to believe, but there are posters who question McCreery's value. On the trade thread, some even suggest putting him up for trade. Mind boggling.

Is it possible that Carlton could miss the finals all together? Now wouldn’t that be nice?😝

It’s possible, and it all starts with Hawthorn winning today.

Hawks v Blues next week too, but then they’ve got Eagles and Saints.

I would’ve loved a more successful premiership defence, but if we don’t make the finals, I’ll sleep well knowing we’ll always have 2023 and we sent Carlton into a whirlwind by beating them in Pendles’ 400th 😍

I like this one.

“I wish we got the type of calls forward that Mason Cox did tonight.

Dodgy AF free kicks.”

Said during the match that blue fans will be bitching about Cox despite Curnow constantly being kissed on the dick by the umps for years now.
That’s comedy gold, every supporter in the land knows Curnow is the most protected in the game.

A snippet From the blues board:

“Really strange game that we should have won comfortably”

What a thing of delusional beauty 😂
Did you listen to Voss' presser?

Now that was delusional.

"I'm really proud of the way we fought to get back in the game". That should be a given. They're now trying to just stay in the 8 after being top 4 last week. "Played some of their best footy." They were down by 32 points in the last qtr & played 15 minutes of good footy.

I'd be furious hearing that from my coach.

McStay really need to lift his body language, sick of him complaining and throwing his hands up when things don’t go his way, he even clashed with DeGoey a couple times in the fwd line
Well we did get F**ked by Scumps last night

Aints are playing well at the moment
Yeah, they’re playing well but could drop off the face of the earth at the flick of a switch lol

I hate to say it, but that was nearly as good as the Grand Final!!!

To **** Carlton’s season up when we’re terribly out of form and to do so in another edition of the one sided Free Kick Carlton was brilliant!!!

Go the ****ing Pies!!!
It was our GF this year

I must watch a different game. Anyone that believes Josh Daicos has had an average season are just clueless. Averages 24.1 disposals a game at 68%. Only Nick with an average of 30.2 a game is higher. Nick on season going at 67.5% DE. Josh averages 418 metres gained which is elite. He gets marked way too harshly. He’s a consistent performer week in , week out and also gets himself up to play every week. His AFL fantasy this year is an average of 92 or so. Last year all Australian he was at 90. I just don’t get it, would be with Nick & Cameron in the top few in the Copeland.
Looked to be playing injured for 3-4 weeks, but he seems to have recovered the past fortnight. Just wasn’t putting his body online as much as we’re used to.

Ned Long has been up for a bit of criticism, and it is true his game wasn't the best, but I thought as a I watched, the he doesn't take possession when he could because he was deferring to team mates with better disposal credentials, even when he (Long) is in prime position to get it. It made me think that he has instructions on this. It would only be a guess as to what they might be, but it could easily be that he has been told that his mission is defensive, and like Frampton in the grand final, he is not adjusting in the moment to an aggressive opportunity. Does anyone else have this perception or is it just one of my constructs?

I'll never getting tired of inflicting pain onto Carlton, no matter the circumstances and how ugly it might be. We've toyed with them under Fly with close wins in 2022 (4 points and 1 point) and 2024 (6 points and 3 points). Particularly for our older fans who suffered through the 70s and 80s, I hope this recent success over them is a source of great comfort.

It is. :thumbsu:

I could see the Hawks beating them. They should win against the Eagles. As for the Saints, who knows? 🤔
