Lance Franklin - Worst Kicking Performance Ever?

It's good to get all the inacuracy out of the way before the finals so look out.
Buddy loves the G, and will be on target when it counts. He is only 20 years of age, and will rewrite the record books if he is injury free!

Re: 6 Straight Behinds - is Buddy flawed?

I Franklin could have as good as a carrer as Richi I am sure he would be happy. Richo may not be perfect but he has been one of the best players in the AFL for 10 years.

What buddy can learn form Richo is work ethic.

I remember Rich had 19 marks 2 goals agasins Jon Hay once

Yeah Buddy is looking like a young Richo as much as anything - just doesn't need to jump to get above everyone else !

I didn't see the match, but was the dogs 2nd half even worse than the Richmond "witches hats" performance vs cats or something?. Can only imagine the pain if Buddy could kick straight...

Bumping this thread reminds me that there was once a ‘Travis Cloke versus Buddy Franklin’ debate… 😂

Right up there with the Daniel Harris vs Sam Mitchell one.

AFL Tables led me down a rabbit hole finding this thread about the worst high scoring conversion rate in a match.

Leigh Matthews kicked 3.8 a number of times. Also kicked 0.7 once. But in the 70s and 80s when raining, the grounds were beyond atrocious. And the balls would end up weighing 4 or 5 kilos.

Not to mention they would routinely play while concussed...

Similar to Ablett Sr, often put up woeful kicking performances and on a frequent basis too.
