Could go one of two ways if he has any ambition. He'll either grab the bull by the horns here (provided he's not 70 by the time that happens) and show the cretins who pass as leaders here how it's done, or he just gets pissed off and walks to a better opportunity.

I think by the time he takes over he's going to have a huge point to prove and will enjoy rubbing everyone's noses in it.
