It's so annoying that Norf is such a shit club (who no one decent wants to play for) that they would likely have the moola to match. That big nose dickhead Rawlings will force a trade. I can just see it.

unless we finish in the 8, he aint coming to us.
He is getting to that age where if he decides to leave, it will be going to a club that looks like playing finals for the next 5 years. We may well have the biggest offer, but plenty of top 8 clubs will throw some big money his way. you dont need to be a mind reader to know what his manager will advise him to do.

Yep. Small clubs need both money and either success or seen to be headed for success. Big clubs have their big crowds. No money, no success, no problem.

it seems like the list management team have set that expectation internally . This looks like the last year we fully invest in the draft and next year we are throwing money at any free agent who will take it.

I reckon Richo screwed him over. He had enough talent but Richo refused to play a few guys who had been favourites under the dwarf.

This looks like the last year we fully invest in the draft and next year we are throwing money at any free agent who will take it.

Yes next season is where we NEED to start landing talented recruits from other clubs. That is the plan, but so far the "Big Fish" Strategy has rarely worked for us. It is what successful clubs succeed in doing though.

Last time was when we brought in GTrain, Hamill, Penny as well as Black, Powell etc who we landed after all getting some top young talent.

Time before that was probably the Drake Era.


So we need our young talent to shine next in 2025. We need to look like becoming the next big thing. If we do not build that allure, then those Big Fish will just swim on by.

I think this one reason why the Club was keen to add in Macrea to our midfield mix for 2025. Improve our midfield, then we with what we already have around the the ground we stand a very good chance to be very competitive in 2025.

ended up getting a bag in the NFL so probs lucky he didn't have the character to stick it out in the V/AFL

Siposs looked like Goddard 2.0 when Watters played him at half back.

Richo was adamant he play forward and that was the end of him. For all the talk about Richo being the best development coach in the game (something I subscribed to) he sure did stuff a few kids up.

Siposs, Lee & Saad all went backwards.

Dunstan & Acres being played forward instead of on ball.

The constant flip flopping with Hickey & Longer.
