Auck, you are an astute community football follower. What’s your take on Wallans recruiting for 2025?

Auck, you are an astute community football follower. What’s your take on Wallans recruiting for 2025?

They'll play finals. I expect some of the U19 boys to step up and play a part in that finals push. I'm expecting a couple of blokes who were down a bit this year to really step it up in 2025. Wallan will continue to produce kids who will be picked up by Div 1 clubs around Victoria and (hopefully) VFL teams and then be crucified on social media for replacing them with "outsiders"

I believe Riddell and Diggers will be very hard to beat and are my pick to play off in the GF.

I also hope I'm wrong on that GF prediction.

I think they can push for finals. It will be hard, but I do think it's a definite possibility. Tough start to the season though.

3 one pointers have moved on. Rode, Langbourne and Gilchrist. The first two (already posted on here) off to EDFL Premier, the other to a very good Div 2 side in the NFL.

Plenty of others were the targets of other clubs too but stayed.

Until the league get their act together and put up the transfers, then we might have a better idea of the comings and goings.

He's obviously spent enough time at Wallan to be a classed as a 1 pointer, 7 years in fact. 2 seasons of senior footy ultimately makes him a better player.

Yes, I know you were and I answered it. Riley played at Wallan from 2012-2017 before heading to Whittlesea and now 2 years of senior footy at Wallan. Kid's a bloody gun, good luck to him.
