Hi All,

The usual place to ask for your Fantasy and Supercoach questions. Being a rebuilding side there should be some opportunities for youngsters / potential cash cows. Some notes for the season ahead on players:

Elliot Yeo - Put a line through him for a bit with his ankle and knee issue, could be a good pick up later in the season in a draft comp
Liam Duggan - Been playing more through the midfield in training
Tim Kelly - Been spending a bit more time up forward, but with Yeo's injury could spend more time back in the midfield
Dom Sheed - Knee injury 🧟‍♂️
Liam Baker - Likely to spend more time down back with stints in the middle
Harley Reid - A few preseason niggles but expected to build on his impressive first year
Jack Graham - Will be valuable providing a big body with Yeo's injury
Bailey Williams / Matt Flynn - battling it out for the number 1 ruck spot
Jayden Hunt - Likely to spend more time on the wing this year
Reuben Ginbey - Mostly down back with some stints in the middle
Tyrell Dewar - Been spending more time on the wing in match sim
Harry Barnett - Moved to defence as another option to cover Barrass leaving and has looked good. Battling it out with Edwards, Jamieson and Bazzo to partner McGovern.
Luca Grego - Impressed people with his attack on the ball, will debut at some stage just a question on when
Bo Allan - Also impressive during training, likely round 1 debut
Elijah Hewett - Looking to make up for lost time after last year was ruined by injury and is best 22 when fit
Ryan Maric - Set to play the 'quarterback' role out of defence. Being mentored by Shannon Hurn
Jack Hutchinson - Work rate has turned heads and with Yeo's injury there is an opportunity for midfield minutes for him
Clay Hall - See above for Jack Hutchinson
Tom Gross - Looked good, but not likely to debut round 1 at this stage
Archer Reid - Lot of hype around him internally at the club, and will be in the frame for Jack Darling's spot

ZYVRXRCL is the PIN number for the Eagles AFL Classic comp

First in, best dressed for spots

If someone wants to generate a comp for Supercoach feel free to put the league code in here as well
Is that the right code? Doesn't show up when I search

Invite people to join Bigfooty Eagles League

Great, now that you have created a league, invite others to join.

The invitation PIN for Bigfooty Eagles League is: ZYVRXRCL

Should be there? A few people from last year have rejoined

I’ve only got the option to join a private league with a six digit code. The one above is eight digits unless I’m missing something?
Is your code for Supercoach?

Thanks for the summary

I can't see any obvious premiums yet but there a few players this year worth looking at as cash cows. The below notes are for AFL fantasy (I know nothing about SC)

The main 3 are looking like Maric, Hutchinson and Hewett who are all forward options who will get more ball for various reasons

Dewar, Bo Allan, Gross and Hall (in that order) are all worth watching keeping an eye on through preseason but are lower production and/or job security/substitute risks

And a couple of other considerations. Archer Reid has ruck DPP and is likely to get some gametime but is unlikely to score much. Is he one of the best R3s available?
Whichever SSP we decide on (Henderson, Brock etc) would be another consideration?
Grego will probably get his chance at some point

Midpricers...
Ginbey could have a more fantasy friendly role coming out of the backline. Should get DPP in the first batch
Jack Graham is another watch. Has Mid/Fwd DPP and will probably get plenty of CBAs/midfield minutes, but in a defensive role
