Ball movement is still slow, skills are absolutely woeful and our forwards ****ing suck.

It is VERY early but I'm scared Goody hasn't actually learned still - this looks like last year when we'd deliberately chip it around a bit more so we didn't mindlessly bomb it, but we refused to take any risky kicks or try and run the ball by hand so we just lost by a couple goals less. I can cop turnovers if we're actually trying to take the game on through the middle, not this shit sideways stuff.

It's funny because it was Freo last year who exposed just how bad that gameplan was.

I have been on about it all pre season, we lack players forward of the ball who can win a contest. When every other team were loading up on fast aggressive skilled players forward of the ball, we decided to double down on inside mids, half backs and wingmen.

Get used it everyone, just a taste of what’s to come.

Fritsch near on invisible. Most of the forwardline really poor actually - except Johnson who has a genuine crack and like him in the team as pinch hitter in the ruck. Miss Koz like crazy. Windsor and rivers quite as well.

Yep he's been decent in the game in general but he is not clean or a contested ball winner. His strengths suit the wing perfectly not sure what he brings as an inside mid.

I was hoping to see some sort of fundamental changes to the gameplan but it looks pretty much the same to me.
What's the point of moving Langdon inside if we still try and use the wings the majority of the time?
Forward setup still looks the same with the same results.
The sooner Goody takes the Adelaide job the better.
