Just head to the Cricketer's Arms for an hour or so. If I wasn't working late and could have gone to the game I'd have met you there.

Why not go to the Royal Hotel instead? Drink prices are the same but the bar staff far more attractive

melt over, i’m glad the smell of poo is gone now, one of the old codgers must’ve shit himself

Longer lines to get in. For some unfathomable reason...

Breast is Best !

Also they actually have a damn fine kitchen/food at the Royal (and not in the way you may think)

Last season was great for me. I would see an arrogant Hawfs win at the MCG and then stagger a few KMs to Collingwood to go to a metal show at the Bendigo Hotel or the Tote Hotel, but on that little walk I always noticed the Royal had a long queue to get in...

Best time to go is a few hours before the game starts imo.

still not *ing home * you metro

They are a disgrace (Metro) . It's pricey but I catch an uber from every night game at either the G or Marvel (I don't have a train station nearby where I live)

Those old Red Rattler and Harris trains were a lot more reliable than the 21st century junk rail stock we have today

An unexpected benefit of being forced to watch at home is more bourbon, and much cheaper than in the MCC!!

You also get stronger drinks, I'm a much more generous bartender when I pour drinks at home than if they get poured at a bar.

Oh yes, it's a 50-50 split, becoming 60-40, 70-30 bourbon to coke ratio at home. But I'm all of 5 metres from bed, so it's OK 😀

To summarise for you:
Caldwell: absolute gun, A+ grade midfielder potential.
Kako: believe the hype, but he will have quiet periods (as does every small forward).
Caddy: worthy of * goo, just needs to build muscle mass.
McGrath: sublime disposal when he has space, can be ineffective and a liability under the slightest of pressure.
Draper: Super competitive ruck, becoming better in F50, horrific haircut holding him back.

Thanks Big Z. Hopefully we have a bit of September action to show the rest of the comp what an actual love/hate fest looks like.
