I have a feeling that Sonsie won't while he's playing half forward every week. He's not a forward. He may improve if given a chance on the ball, but it doesn't look like they're willing to take the risk.

Not a lot to lose by trying him in there.

I don’t get the on-ball rotations. If we’re trying to fast track development we should be giving guys like Sonsie a chance. I can only assume he gets smashed at training so they won’t risk it.

Dow has got the most on-ball time out of the three and has been underwhelming but slightly improved on last year. He’s still a massive liability with no physical game due to being both slow and undersized.

Ross doesn’t look like he can play on ball at AFL level either. There’s just nothing special about him and it gets exposed when he’s up against the top mids.

I think the harsh reality is the best players play midfield and these guys aren’t our best players.

Could be right. I do think that Ross can play, not at the A grade level but as a sold B. I think the best footy he's played over the last couple of years has been on a wing. Maybe leave him there.

Dow can only play in the middle and he has improved but I still think they've got nothing to lose by throwing Sonsie into the rotations for a few weeks.

By the time we're ready to contend again Ross will be pushed back out to the wing or not in the side at all.

Dow and Sonsie won't even be on the list.

The fact Sonsie hasn’t even got one CBA this season despite racking up 34 on-ball in the VFL round 1 makes you scratch your head.

Ross can play but needs more games like round 1 and no games like round 5. I worry the lack of pace is the issue rather than performance.

It was gameplan thing and it was caused by ground size. The bigger and wider the ground, the more time we had to create a turnover.
