The most pleasing aspect was how the team came out after half time and ironed out the transition issues that appeared in the 2nd quarter. Was a little disjointed and with a couple of easy misses it gave the Roos a sniff.
But wowee, the Baggers were on song in the 3rd and 4th.
Kudos to the coaching group.

15.4 after half time 👍

Does Hewitt play a crap game … he is in some good form .. love the injection of white Carroll and on north side wardlaw is an absolute star … also love we are resting cripps so he can relax
He's having a blinder of a start to the year. When people wonder why Matty Kennedy is no longer at the club, look at Hewett; they couldn't both be in this team playing midfield. Hewett's the better midfielder, I think the club made the right choice.

Cottrell has gone from average kick to pretty good kick...
He has always been a good kick when he has the space to actually size things up and pinpoint a target. When we get dragged into chaos ball his kicking, along with the rest of the team, goes to shit.

What the hell? Was at the game and there were moments TDK rampaged in patches. Xerri did not destroy him.
I made the brave move and ventured over to the Norf board to see how they saw the game. No analysis, only a few dozen posts with votes. Many had X in the votes. Their aappreciation of a game of football matches the skill level of their team. I agree TDK rampaged (good word) when the game was needing to be won. X got a few touches whrn Tom racked the cue. I guess they had to give 'someone' votes, and after Wardlaw, the cupboard was pretty bare.

Was an awesome win but Xerri destroyed TDK in the ruck. Was at the game and beat him often. Fortunately our mids had laser focus today.

All round brutality by us though.
Love it.
I am not saying commentators are right all the time. But your take on TDK and Xerri is diametrically office to what the gang on Fox were saying.

Agree. I thought Lord did well coming on 5 mins into the last quarter. Got into the game quickly, kicked 2 goals and a couple goal assists.

Probably should have come on earlier in the game, for Fogarty or Elijah.

If it was up to me, I would have subbed Fog for Lord at half time...

Our pressure was crazy today. By far the most satisfying factor IMHO.

Irrespective of the oppo - pressure is something you can always bring. It comes from within & isn’t a reflection of who you play.

Nobody can say - yeah the pressure was great but is was only North.

That’s something the group can take forward as a non-negotiable.

If they bring that heat every week - they can beat anyone.

The most pleasing thing about today was the small forwards filling their boots even if it was only against questionable opposition. Even Fog who didn’t kicks goal played his part. Hopefully the past 2 weeks give them confidence to make a meaningful contribution against a quality opponent next week.
