Unless the injury was as he was moving towards the goal line, and caused him to lose his feet, I don’t see an ACL mechanism for McStay. An MCL as the Bombers player fell across his legs makes sense to me. Fingers crossed.
Great three quarters of footy, but I feel we had a few passengers. WHE, Houston, Beau were all down. We probably lacked an aerial presence too with Howe fumbly early, Checkers mostly absent, and no Moore.
Good to have a strong win and still room for improvement, I guess!

Not disagreeing. Just pointing out he had a great game which any other player in the AFL would love to have.
Wow Nick absolutely gets marked differently to others.
By far the most damaging player on the ground.
Would be interested to see his score involvements.
Annoys me a bit how much commentators always go on about tagging Nick.
Leaving aside whether it's effective (Lions worst Q last week was when they decided to tag), there is more happening in the game. Josh was dominating the play, but all the talk was about whether Nick, playing forward, should be getting a tight tag.
I guess the focus on Ablett was similar, but it would usually be once he was dominating a game, not constant discussion regardless of how the game is going.
