I think we are going to get a hiding this week ...
Still will watch it makes me enjoy the wins even more when they do come around.... Hopefully we are able to counter the overlap running which the Hawks do so well and prove me wrong
We should not be getting flogged this week. Hawks haven’t been setting the world on fire, and will be missing Nash, Day, Scrimshaw and Amon …. plus Calsher Dear and Mitch Lewis still out. That’s half a dozen of their best team. Plus we’ve had an extra couple of days break. With Balta back there are no excuses for us to not put up a pretty damn good fight this Sunday.

It would be nice to stick with them for most of the game. Funny things happen.

Pumped for this. We’ve had a bit of a break to rest, so that’ll help against a Hawthorn side full of runners.

Positive is that we’ll likely have Balta back if fit.

I dont rate the hawks list. chol is the centrepiece of their forward line and they have no stars and a million retreads

we already have more star power off the back of one draft

Gees Curtis suspension for 3 games sucks for him…bit harsh ( Geelol or filth player would have got off)
Good for us…we play them in 2 weeks
Good for us deathriding Norf
We have people shoved two hands in the back and it's ok guy tackles the other dude pushes himself forward hits his head and it's a ban for the other guy instead of a h/b. No wonder this game run by idiots is a farce as I watched all games for the first time in years and the umpiring is beyond belief and I thought we were the only ones shafted. I even go as far as to say games are so fixed it's disturbing.

The Hawks have a good shade of yellow on their jumpers. I like it.

Haere Ra

Hopefully Lynch keeps his temper under control a bit this week. Can see him whacking Sicily and missing a couple.

Absolutely

In mansell case both players had momentum and the hands in back was slight

can understand to a degree why the afl punishes us year in year out but seriously what did the roos do besides be pathetic?
They didn't accept what they wanted them to do and be called the Gold Coast Roos.

Samson Ryan: Foot, 1-2 weeks

“We got some scans on Samson Ryan. He is still dealing with a plantar fascia complaint,” Serpell said.

“So hopefully we have him down for one to two weeks from now."

Mykelti Lefau: ACL, 3-5 weeks

“Thankfully, Mykelti has got through a lot of training last week and he is in even better shape now so he will be down for three to five weeks at this point in time,” Serpell said.

Tylar Young: ACL, 4-6 weeks

"Similar to Mykelti, Tylar is progressing really well," Serpell said.

"He has started training this week without a non-contact hat on, so he will have full training the next few weeks, and hopefully he can get a body of work in, and we are confident that he can return to play."

Harry Armstrong: Hamstring, 9-11 weeks

“Harry is out there doing a bit of running now," Serpell said.

“He is enjoying it, and we are getting some good work into him.

“There is an opportunity here to also work on some other football skills, which is awesome. So, he is still 10 weeks away but progressing quite well.”

Dion Prestia: Achilles, TBC

“Dion is progressing similar to last week,” Serpell said.

“No real update on where he is at, but as I said last week, we will have some information out when we can on him.”

Taj Hotton and Josh Gibcus: ACLs, TBC

“Taj and Josh are going in leaps and bounds as well,” Serpell said.

“Taj is progressing well, and hopefully we will have a timeframe on him in the next week or two.

“Josh is progressing as well but again, hopefully in the next week or two, we will have some timeframes on him, so we will see them on the training track doing more footy drills as the weeks progress.”
Is the point of playing LeFau to have him as a big body when Lynch is unavailable/retied?
