I’m only little spoon for OchreDude you're clearly the little spoon, everyone knows that.
The Optus Stadium tour is actually pretty interesting and worth doing if you've got time and you're here mid-weekOk campaigners, looking for some WC things to do when we visit Perth in July.
I’m a born and bred Vic Country boy who chose to support West Coast from their first game (I was nine years old) because I liked the colours. Yes, school was rough.
Even the 10 year old son supports WC (he’s felt the pain of losing given he has a limited memory to call upon).
Anyway, despite being a WCE Vic member for about 30 years, I have never been to a home game. I’ve been to 40 years of games at the MCG, Waverley Park, Western Oval, Windy Hill, Victoria Park, Marvel etc, but never Subi or Optus.
A boyhood dream will be realised when the family and I come to WA for the Richmond game.
Apart from the game, what should we do?
Can I do a tour of the Mineral Resources Park and see the cups? Is open training common? Can I walk on the old Subi oval given it’s school hols?
Are there any other iconic Eagles locations to visit? Any traditional Eagles drinking holes on matchday?
Any suggestions appreciated.

Thanks.Cups are on display in the main foyer, should be able to get in there any time the team store is open.
Open training is usually a Tuesday or Wednesday morning I think? Keys is the expert on that.
I think what’s left of Subi Oval is public space so you should be able to get on that no problem. If you look carefully down the city end I think you can still see the divot where Ballantyne flopped into the turf after realising his game winning shot had hit the post.
I was going to suggest a Beagles game but they’ve got a bye that weekend unfortunately.
Thanks.
Beagles is a good shout - we arrive on the 12th and it looks like they play that evening. Will assess the state of my marriage before I commit to that one.

Is that one of the rock hard men Byron_Clanger was talking about?

That's absolutely farked. Instant loss of respect for that move.
Edit: Sorry, that's an instant and emotional reaction. I thought he left us so he could pursue overseas opportunities (dollars), which I was fine with. But not going to bl00dy Adelaide. Why Bryce??
