Matt Scarlett for mine could punched Rachelle in the face liked he did Hayden Ballentyne.I reckon we would have won if we had Tony Locket tonight.

Seen it live with a good angle. It was a goal. No doubt at all.Just had a text.
Ah Chee's was clearly a goal and the silence of their crowd told you everything.
Wtf is a review worth with that vision. Amateur hour. Goal ump froze.
We were clearly the better side. Don't know why we didn't just steady instead of cough it up with all the experience we had out there.
Just disappointing to lose . 20 i/s 50's to 8 . A bit unfathomable really.

Yep. Lost all shape. We are making a habit of letting it get out the back. Starce will help if he gets back
5-0 to start
4-3-1 since
suspect the bye will help. Cause we never rest anyone!
But i hope it hasn’t come to late. We had it in round 12 last year
Hipwoods defensive efforts were huge tonight.Crows defended well. Makes for awful footy to have your whole team in an oppositions defensive 50 all game but it worked. Stifled a lot of the Lions small forwards.
Hipwood needs a training block. In my 30 odd years of supporting this club he’s arguably the worst player I’ve seen to somehow still get games. And that’s including spuds like Lisle and Close.
We’re unfortunately just very unhealthy in the ruck/forward department right now, I thought Eric was playing great to start the season but without a supporting act like Day it’s been difficult for him.Daniher is a massive loss but we have also lost Day who, while not a replacement, at least allowed eric to be forward. And Smith.
We really need Eric back in his best role.
100%Will Ashcroft is a great handballer and is brilliant in close with his hands and reflexes.
Elephant in the room, he is a turnover machine with his kicking. It is a liability. He should be encouraged to stick to handballs because it hurts us when he kicks it.
Was reading recently there are about 10 clubs currently into our talented x factor Shagga.....the sooner he becomes a regular the better even at the expense of xxx. He is also a bit of a dead eye dick when shooting which would've come in handy last night. It will be an interesting watch over the back end of the season on Zorko, Charlie, Fort, Oscar and Lester. I love all five of them as we all do but I’m just wondering if we’ll four are just ever so slightly noticeably starting to slow down.
Whether it is just needing a break or time starting to catch them, the post bye will say a lot. The fact all of them are looking a bit worn down might definitely imply it’s just a break they need. LAshcroft could also do with a freshen up for the more important back end of the year.
Damm auto correct I have now fixed and changed Logan to lohman as I think he is another that is trying to do too much100%
I would say Levi kicks to too many contests or the other team instead of looking for a shorter target
And Bailey is trying to be a hero
There are a few players that will try and be the hero and not go with the obvious kick which is to a player in the best position
Add Lohman to the list
Fages needs to enforce more control
Some of our players wow great game
Rayner and morris a special mention
A few worries
It’s the fact we kicked 0.8 from a million inside 5Os, to 5.0. Doesn’t matter how well we played, we choked harder than some adult movies I’ve watched. That last quarter was horrendous. After sleeping on it, I really don't know how we can be mad at that performance.
- Adelaide is no.1 in various stats currently and one of the hot teams in comp
- we managed to stay ahead of them comfortably for 3 quarters
- more importantly when momentum turned against us in last, we arrested it and attacked them for 15 mins
- players kept trying n trying to win that one. There was no slouch in terms of effort across the board
I think we are getting spoilt by a win everything or it's a catastrophy mindset. I was super proud of their effort but sad about the result. Onwards n upwards, bring on next week.
Here hereThe melts here are a bit over the top. Yes we lost but there is a lot of context to that loss.
We got hammered by the umps all night. There was two different HTB interpretations tonight.
We should have had a couple of 50s that were very obvious.
Late in the last when the ball was kicked to Charlie, he was being held the entire time but nothing was paid. Not to mention how much he was held all game.
The amount of times our mids were tackled before they got the ball.
The Ah Chee goal that wasn’t paid.
As frustrating as Dev’s kick was, I’m confident the guy on the mark took off before he was back in play. In the time it took Dev to take 2 steps back into play he has taken 4 or 5 and shutdown the kick.
Fletcher was great all night. In contested situations he makes such good decisions and his use by foot is normally great. It’s frustrating when comparing it to how WAshcroft just dumps it on the boot without much thought of where it is going.
Outside of the dump kicks, Ashcroft was really good.
I was impressed with Gallop. I thought Thilthorpe would throw him around in the ruck, but Gallop competed and won some hitouts. I think him going off after the head knock cost us a bit.
Zorko letting Keays get so far away for him cost us. We let that matchup play out for too long. Zorks is frustrating because he hits some great kicks but he misses some as well. He is still a dangerous weapon, but when it goes wrong it costs us goals. We just hope that he hits more than he misses, which generally does.
Grug is coming back into form, by finals time he will be peaking.
Like all of us I was disappointed that we lost but all things considered, going down by 5 points was a terrible outcome.
