First quarter was great, but besides that a really underwhelming win. Poor kicking for goal and poor field kicking again almost cost us. Really concerning watching certain players efforts as well.

It’s clear what shifted the game. During the aural assault at 3/4 of that karaoke bullshit (please AFL, ban this) and after the moronic panic riddled third quarter, I put in my AirPods, full volume, and pumped Patience by the Gunners. It provided relief and was still calming me as Blake ‘let’s kick it on the full for fun’ Acres slotted a goal from 50 on the boundary.
Silly me for not playing it on repeat throughout the whole quarter.

Horrible win. Weiters was terrible tonight, lumbering around with zero defensive effort. Burnt Haynes in that last qtr, was more interested in having a rest over the boundary than helping his teammate. Cripps was selffish again and Docherty looked tired. We arent going to make finals, might as well rest them and start playing the young blokes.

Excellent game by Jesse Motlop. Happy to eat my words again. Just keep it up.
