Pies tried to play too cute defensively.

Allan and Hayes got bullied by the experienced Demons. Other Pies had to step up to fix the deficiency.

Pies long kicking into 50 is a tactic against Demons for 3 years now. Pies played differently in spurts but Demons defense with May back is up there.

Lucky win I reckon. Fritch missing that sitter in the 4th was a sign Pies were hanging on by luck in this game since they played below their usual.

Agree, need to rethink our approach against this mob.
They matchup better than some teams coz they can defend and grind.
