I turned up for that sh*tshow.
Not sure I can do it again.

Surely the most unskilled team, bar none.
I know, heres a thought, maybe the players should spend a couple hours more a week at the club working on that?

And you know what Nas - we love you and want you to stay - but tonight you were as bad as your team mates. Don’t tell me about being given licence to take the difficult options - even the easy ones weren’t great tonight.

Seriously, one of the most frustrating games since …. Well since the last time we played the Dogs.

Also, don’t let anyone tell me we don’t miss King and Doug’s. Just don’t.

Can’t even blame the umpires for once although they missed a few. The huge Bronx cheer they got was probably the most fun thing the entire night.

I went tonight, expecting to lose, but hoping to see some of the young players show something - I didn't really get that.

And what makes it even worse is you could tell pretty early on we weren't seriously in it, which at 8pm you're kinda annoyed about making the effort when the players clearly aren't?

And then you start to question whats the point when it brings no joy, and actually is all starting to become kind of a hassle?

Really think that the Pres would need to go first.
Still goes back to the day of the Presser after Ratts got the arse.
There was this total expectation that we weren't getting the best out of the list.

3 years later and we what we find out is that the Pres had no idea of what was going on. And we play catch up.

Ross needs an up year next year.
Otherwise he won't get Year 5 and he shouldn't.

Take a breather mate. Ross with the list that he took over from Ratten finished 6th and then they came to the conclusion this is far as this group is going to get us, so we then started to cut the list. Don’t fall into that BS narrative.

I got myself out of the house for Sinclair. Really not motivated to turn up again this year. Left at 3/4 time. I have sat through most matches but this felt like rock bottom. There just isn't enough entertainment in it any more. The Jack Steven to Josh Bruce and Lonie era was more enjoyable than whatever we are doing now.

The game is worse and the whole club seems like it can't be ****ed any more. I wish they'd just move us to the VFL where we don't have to shame ourselves in prime time.

We don't have a brand, our systems are embarrassing and obvious, our pressure is inconsistent.

20000 for two Melbourne based sides is below pathetic. What pressure are we putting on the club to be better with that kind of attendance? As much as I hate the supporters of Essendon and Carlton, at least they make the bloody effort to show up for their team, and it doesn't matter how putrid the footy they play is.

Just like the team picks and chooses when to put in, so do St Kilda fans.

So spare me with that "if they played better, more people would show up" claptrap: supporters support, thick and thin, through the wind and the rain. Otherwise you're not really supporters you're just a flipping audience.

What's more concerning than the terrible crowd, was the complete lack of energy from any Saints fan there - fair enough, I didn't have any energy either. My point is, this is a downward spiral engagement wise that is very very difficult to rectify

Enormous gap in talent across the list. Our elder statesmen are mostly shit whereas theirs are still prime movers in Libba, Lobb, Treloar, Bont getting on too.

It was a bad loss but I'm content with being bad. I'm sick of finishing between 6-12 every year. If we're not contending then we should be finishing as low as possible and getting a top pick in.

Looking at the crows this year you can see how a couple of traded in players can make the difference to a developing list.

Hopefully we can continue to build the list and bring in a few best 22 players and start to play some exciting football.

We have no system. Just run and hope a risky kick to a contest gets won and dump the ball inside 50.

You watch the Dogs looking well drilled, obvious skill advantage, prepared to press up in a disciplined way, prepared to work into space to accept a kick and have set plays to move the ball.

Really feel like Lyon has been outmoded.

We were sold a false narrative by the Pres.
Because the Pres didn't have a good understanding of what was happening underneath him. Thats not an attack thats just cold hard fact.

If we don't have a better year next year. The pressure on Ross and the Pres will be definitely on.
