looks like the saints just revolve around nasiah, they feed him the ball at every opportunity, even when he is under pressure. even moe than pies feeding it to daicos when he used to play half back.

He had like 7 kicks straight to the opposition, would fit in well.

Tried to be too cute.
He's still not the total package.
Bergman still better ATM but Nas's potent ceiling is higher.
That's why Miles is a currently better footballer, and why we should not be bent over by any club.

two different players. Bergs has a high ceiling with midfield i reckon plus more versatile where as NWM has the ceiling of an Andrew McLeod type player and beyond if he commits and just pushes himself instead of the slower cute stuff.

and it would be ideal keeping bergs and getting nwm. if that happens and Butters stays on with a fit firing team next season that's easily top 4 if not flag contention.

yes Marshall has been out and the head knocks but if forward line had him, Georgiades and Lukosius plus the smalls etc that's a good line up.

Our biggest problem with NWM is the Victorian media expecting him to go and pumping up his value out of all proportion.

The good thing is that with each passing game, Bergman's reputation and subsequent media exposure & commentary is getting bigger and bigger. NWM is without doubt a star, but if Bergman keeps up this trajectory, there wont be much separating them by season's end!

They media commentary won't be comparable. Already NWM is being hailed a superstar and All Australian.

Bergman will be Oh he can play midfield too.

Not here in Melbourne. I have actually seen or heard reports on Bergman pretty much daily. The latest yesterday that 5 clubs are after him, showing footage here in Melbourne of his Port training on prime-time news - Very rare to see here!

Every one talking about him and wanting him in there club. Definitely more talk about him here than NWM ... Maybe because they think he is gone, and they are now focusing on Bergman being the loyal returning hero.

Whatever, time will tell. Hopefully it as all moot and we can tempt him to stay at Port

The All Australian team is an interesting one. Most have NWM across half back but i didn't see any with Connor Rozee named. Is NWM really having a better year than Rozee? Him and Rozee probably both should be in there but then there are other names that have been mentioned ahead of Rozee too like Zorko, Dale, Sinclair.

I think Rozee's year has been underrated.

Butters also completely snubbed, even though he has been elite since coming back from injury.

Yes he’s been far better than Rozee this year.

NWM has been the best half back in the league by a country mile this year. Lachie Ash is the only other player close to his impact from the back half.

If Rozee keeps going he'll probably sneak in for a bench spot, but Dale, Zorko and NWM have been better, or at least more consistent.
