The Dees return to Adelaide Oval, which has mostly been a happy hunting ground for the club over the past handful of years (except for when we're playing Essendon).

This time, we bid farewell to revered Port Adelaide icon, Ken Hinkley. Thanks for the memories, Kenny – you've made BigFooty a very entertaining place to be.

Not much to be said about the game itself – it's 13th vs 15th, with the winner able to pretend that finals are a chance for one week longer. The real showdown that we're all tuning in for is the Unstoppable Force vs the Immovable Object in the coaches' box.

Anyway, jokes aside, we get to see Kozzy play footy today (and for the next nine years) – so that's pretty neat

Kysaiah Pickett.

Nice like farming.
Still not as good a strategy as my "like this post if you're a lurking opposition poster searching for melts!" schtick in autopsy threads after a close loss.

I’m confused and can’t react to anything until I understand what’s going on
You mean my low-effort 1:00 am meme didn't make sense?

The crux of the joke is 'haha, they are bad at coaching'.

Re the picture:

The "unstoppable force meets the immovable object" is a famous wrestling analogy used to describe the Hulk Hogan vs. Andre the Giant match at WrestleMania III. This phrase, coined by commentator Gorilla Monsoon, encapsulated the high-stakes battle between the popular Hulk Hogan, known for his powerful moves, and the seemingly invincible Andre the Giant. The culmination of the match was when Hulk Hogan body slammed Andre the Giant, a monumental moment in wrestling history.

This is not supposed to be your first post in a game day thread.

The Million Dollar Man and Rick the Model Martel were my guys in wrestling then.
Ted Dibiase was such an arseh*le, I love how he put a dollar note in his opponents mouth after he knocked them out, just rubbing in how much money has.

Kozzie Pickett should do the same. Imagine him knocking out some campaigner like essava gouliea or that bedwetter Rozee then chucking a pineapple in their mouth while they're lying on ground. Do it Koz. The ferals will love it.

He was a massive arseh*le but a very funny one.

If kozzy doesn’t get 20 plus touches and kick 3+ goals the media will come for him hard
Dont worry with Viney back to take over our midfield our inside 50s will give Kozzie plenty of opportunity to put on a show.

It honestly feels like ages since we've played a day game at Adelaide oval against an Adelaide side.
Looked it up. We played Adelaide in a twilight game in 2021 but if you don't count that the last day game we played them in was in 2015

Port Adelaide we've only met during the day once at Adelaide oval, back when the joint became a regular AFL venue in Round 18 of 2014.

All other encounters at Adelaide oval have been at night, bar one gather round game against the bummers

You're welcome for these useless facts

(Throw in a night game against norf in 2020 and a night final too in 21)

We won 5 in a row then should have beaten the flag favourites, with one blip in between. Port have been poor all season including at Adelaide Oval. We've gone alright at AO in recent years. Obviously our conversion is a big worry for me but I feel as though we should be favourites.
