What guts said about Liam Baker triggered me.

'Not a bad starting pick'.

The problem was his flog coach who played him as a mid which he can't do well because he panics and kicks clangers. For a month I patiently waited for the penny to drop and him to go back to half back. I also patiently waited for Flynn, my R2 at the time, to get a recall because BJW was worse.

Both happened literally the week after I lost patience and traded them both out. I turned Baker into Darcy who promptly broke himself and forced another trade.

McQualter cost me literally 4 trades (I had to trade Flynn back in after his first game back was a ****en 130 odd) out of sheer stupidity and stubbornness.

Oh well at least I had McCarthy onfield I guess lol

100%. Same here, and after a while with him you just get spooked and steer clear.
Can understand him trying things in real-world terms, but he went over the top,
Baker is one you'd like in your squad just because he has an absolute crack and leads, too, just good to watch.
