Caddy’s is the worst but will win the nom because of split votes.

Think mclachlan’s is clearly the best.

its also all Essendon fans have. So let them have it.

Harris Andrews gave a 50 for waving his arms, and now you can get in an umpires face. FMD.

Piss poor AFL. way to get respect for umpires, at all levels/

Pretty funny Holmes got a kick in the ass for carrying on like a petulant child. Not used to the umpires letting opposition get so far ahead. Even free kicks!!- what a disgrace.

To be fair to Holmes he hadn't realised the Cats had spent all their money on the white shirts instead of paying off the umps last week.

Poor form from Cotton On. Yes I know they spent $200,000 on the t-shirts allegedly (assuming the reported cost of $5 per shirt is correct) but they could definitely find store manager jobs for field umpires adult children to hand out.

McLachlan won the Steel Blue boots on Bounce for his mark (against the other 2), as democratically decided by Jason Dunstall.

and then Dimma gets a $2000 fine for giving the bird, and it wasn't even seen during the broadcast, only on AFL360 days after the game

Classic example of the AFL just dont like being embarrassed. Everything is fine until it sees the light of day. Only then if there is bad press will they act

Admittedly if no one saw it then there's nothing to be embarrassed about - though they should be embarrassed about issuing the fine.

One sidenote that I particularly noticed this week was that since Fox Footy made a song and dance about an improved independent broadcast the coverage has gone from poor to pathetic.

Both broadcasts have the same boring talking heads saying the same boring things week after week. Player interviews are generally a waste of time and they pile on that by interviewing the same players nearly every time.

Surely there are some talented young broadcasters out there who aren't bogged down with the cliched mumbo jumbo that we get fed every week. And some specialist commentators with surprising insight.

The camera angles at the Geelong and Adelaide ovals are completely inadequate. Why does it take forever for them to get a replay of an incident or goal up ? The technology seems to be from the 20th century.

As for the review shows ,360 and the rest , same regurgitated braindead formats ,just going through the motions.

Surely with all the money in the game it deserves better than this.

Will Ashcroft had a cracking game. Elite ball use but very good defensive efforts. We hold him to such high standards already, but still a very young player with a lot of development left in him.

Think his defensive efforts were significantly better but still has room for improvement. I don’t join the hype with the Ashcroft hysteria but do think both will become important players for the club long term.
Harris was our BOG by a mile in my opinion. Morris also very good. Dunkley once again outstanding. Rayner electric & awesome to see Kai coming back into some form.

Absolutely. He's shown good progress in this area which is all you can ask. Plenty of development left in him.

I'm more on the Morris hysteria wagon mate - there is room for more ;)

It’s a ‘what have you done for me lately league.’

Will’s norm smith was 16 games ago - ancient history basically.

I judge Will a little bit differently to those on here who seem to think he can do no wrong. He has played 46 games and only has a premiership medallion and Norm Smith to show for it. He's basically a spud. He owes us a lot because we used all those fourth round picks to get him. He's on thin ice with me tbh.
