Some naive things cost us the game. But boy, have we got some material to work with. Very happy with the progress of a lot of our kids. And some of the experienced guys really stood up. Steele magnificent.

Windy an amazing game. Pretty good result if you are a draft watcher. Would rather win though.

The lack of being able to equal the ruck contests has been telling for sometime. Marshall is a lion heart but he gets monstered by the big boys.

Grundy and his mids stepped up in the last and we couldn't go with them. In the end their cleaner kicking/handballing skills was the difference.

Apart from a few obvious errors and players not contributing the majority did their best. A really good contest by the team, it's a shame they couldnt get the rewards.

We're not playing finals but we put together more dominant minutes this game than Sydney did.

Today kind of like have me flashbacks to the Carlton game last year.

We've injected more games onto our youth and they're putting up a great effort.

If we have a fit Max King playing...we win those games.

Agreed. 57 free kicks paid today - that's far too many.

Reckon 35-40 is the sweet spot for most AFL games

They just pick the league favs at that point. Grundy grabs Heath and drags him out the contest and then somehow gets a free kick.
Good to see they won by 1 goal. Like the goal McLean got from the free kick when Caminitis jumper was somehow holding Maclean’s fist.
