But now that I have you here, I guess I should say a few words about this week.

Our dear community has experienced not one, not two, not three, not four, but as many as five misfortunes this week, with popular ruck Tristan Xerri missing three weeks for a perfectly executed 'clothesline from hell' on Tom Sparrow, Nic Martin falling victim to the 'playing for Essendon' curse, Connor Rozee taking the 'pull your finger out' rev-up from coaches too literally, Jason Horne-Franflog breaking his foot while giving Harley Reid a football lipping-off lesson, and good looking man Touk Miller tragically suffering a hamstring injury.

Once the tears are wiped away and the dust settles, I imagine there will be a few coaches finally joining Saints4ever in the exclusive 'No Trades Club'. Good luck for this week and the remaining six in this rather cursed season, it's gonna be a bumpy ride.​
