My best score for the year, bittersweet as it is still a terrible score and I'm still dropping in the ranks. Just going to trust the process, take it one week at a time, and potentially sack the coach

Had a good week thou, scored over 2000 which is a plus and not as far behind as it looked at one stage,

Think I was 4/348 Friday night when everyone else seemed to be around 2/1500.

Much better having 10 plus captain on a Sunday, LOL mostly Blues

Green arrows are nice but by **** I’m a long way back from where I want to be.

Butters I think scored more as captain than my past 4 captains combined get the C sorted and I may start seeing more greens.

His team mates regard him highly unlike most here.
He's not a blonde anymore
He's one of a handful that can score in the 150+ range but has only shown glimpse of that this year,
Other teams have worked out to play around him more.
Looks like he is staying home a bit more and Pearse is roaming instead.

Thank you, all valid points. Here's my stubborn pickle... He is currently averaging 84, in his last five seasons his lowest average is 99 so history suggests there's good scores to come & I've already copped the bulk of the crap ones.

Or has he just become an average pick and I'm over-thinking it...

I decided there was no point trading him out in rnd 3 even when he was about to lose a chunk of cash as I'd just waste a trade when he came good again. Think that was the time to trade him, now your just taking the cash loss.
Hopefully he gets better and we get a few big scores before everyone else jumps on.

And as far as not picking over $600k players to start with, I agree on that, I did Start 2 with Xerri as well.
Ryan I thought was worth the risk as the last few seasons he has started with some 150+ and wanted to be onboard if that continued.
