Absolute dog act, should have copped a 3 match suspension. He could have paralyzed the guy for life.
They suspend people based on what the possible outcome could have been.
Harley copped a suspension last year based on a sling tackle that didn't hurt anyone.

I don’t think he was protesting though.

Clayton Oliver exploded at the umpire and the replay the night before and got off scot free, it’s another win for consistency in umpiring (or lack therof).

Just like her he will never admit it when an umpire is wrong. Will he blame the umpires coach
for all the examples shown where players were not penalized for showing dissent.
Swann will never question why Christian didn't penalize Darcy Moore for his dog act on Treacy.
Christian said the 50m penalty was punishment enough, he graded that gutless cheap shot by Moore the same as Worner pointing to the screen when an umpire made a blatantly wrong call.
Toby Greene and Harley would have got 3 weeks for that.

It was a jab at him saying that for the Maynard hit on Brayshaw. He is completely conflicted on anything Collingwood and that one move showed everything we need to know about him but the AFL kept him on in that role while making him do his job.
