I don’t think they’re done for. I told Mr. Strig that they’re getting their losses in now - before the playoffs start. Didn’t they have a bad streak the year they won?

Yeah... not like this. I reckon it was the most flat I've felt about a performance since losing that 22' prelim. I know it wasn't Newcombe's fault and certainly don't blame him or the Hawks, but I was so angry at Howe going down. Poor bloke finally gets back and cops that (again no one's fault just so frustrating). I remember saying to a friend "I hate footy sometimes". Reckon the way I felt - that flatness - was mirrored by the players.

I would hope to see a response against Adelaide - a team we've beaten the last 10 times - but based on respective forms, gee it's hard to imagine.

Yeah, that collision was awful! Poor guys! I was surprise the Hawk came back. Just hope Howe’s ok.

You guys missed McCreary. He could have run down some of those Hawks. It amazes me how someone can run then just all of a sudden start running even faster! Love watching him play.

Ah pumpkin pie, the one type of pie I don't think I've ever had. Is it largely an American thing?

There is so much pumpkin here, you’d think youns guys would eat it. Pumpkin is for pies back home. Not roasted, soup, on sandwiches…whatever else you do with it…

I guess it is an American thing. When fall comes around (fall harvest veggie), we mostly have it for Thanksgiving as pumpkin pie. Cinnamon, cloves, ginger…pumpkin pie spice… Aw, now I want to make one.

You have pumpkin soup in a can, which I never saw before, but you don’t sell cans of puréed pumpkin. I have to go to the USA Foods store for it!

Interesting. With how much American culture stuff crept in here, especially the likes of Halloween, I'm surprised pumpkin pies haven't become a thing too
