Bergman signed for just the two as well, he's just gotten engaged to his Victorian girlfriend. So being around extended family is probably going to be a big pull for them in two years time.

Apparently he doesn’t have a gf, and these guys tend to live in a bubble these days, and being an introverted type, he might not have any friends or family outside the club over here, so I think he would much rather be living in Adelaide.

Think he genuinely loves the club and his teammates though, and we do have the second-most indigenous players of any club, so that would have been a big part of the reason he’s staying.

Difference with Bergman is he did a contract with triggers of extension after 2 years. No mention of any of that by Cal Twomey and only the mention of a 2 year deal. So big difference IMO and means more so that Nas will leave then.

He isn't a free agent until 29.

So Its basically a deal that says to us be on the right path by the end of 27

My point was that it was a cheap jab at the club (yes Runnin Blue gave his own jab) but it’s hypocritical.

Saints already experienced it recently with Collard. Port with Finlayson. No need to bring it up, rocks in glass houses and all that.
