Molloy, Woodland, Lamb or Barnett? Seems like Lamb or Woodland should get more cba's with Window out?
Lamb had low TOG though. Not sure why? Age? Is she coming back from injury? I don't follow Port, so I have no clue. Alternatively, it could just mean Dowrick and Moloney get even higher CBAs with a few extra coming in to help.

I might hold Window and use her as a VC loop option. Goldsworthy VC into Noffy C.

Port play North, so maybe Woodland will struggle.
I considered holding Window, but Kos is my F6.
I might just see how Kos does in the first game. If it's a fieldable score, then I can keep Window and use as loop option.

If only Collingwood weren't playing GWS first game, because my option is to upgrade Centra to someone that can make money (but this is a bench fix up only and would be forced to field Kos), or trade out Window and keep Centra, who is playing a forward role for a terrible team. Since I can't have a look at Kos first, I just have to trade Window and keep Centra

How essential is Zarlie to get you reckon? Already at CBAs so will she now start laying tackles more with Parker out, or get more hands on the ball - is that the expectation? Only way I can bring her in (for Window) is by downgrading Charlie to say Patrikios or similar as I'm already shifting Stannett to Barnett.

I could leave Charlie another week but just reading and listening to some more stats of the Week 1 games - stoppages are down significantly as umpires are being more harsh on the holding the ball frees which doesn't help Rowbottom much as she thrives more on the contested ball situations.

I think Zarlie is a must have, and she could shoot up pretty quickly.

We don't have a replacement for Parker in that short, strong inside mid role, Zarlie is pretty much like-for-like, and she's good at it.

We've got plenty that can play forward, this next game is one of only a couple that are winnable, and Cam is coaching for his life. She simply has to take Parker's role.

I left myself with a fair bit of cash, i could get Piper & Vescio to Zarlie & A.Clark/C.Thorne (would be on field) or go for 2 x 'mid pricers' in Woodland & Barnett.

Absolutely agree with you and am getting ZG. Still fear that Cam is a moron and doesn’t do it.

Currently, depending on teams, gunna go with Stannett, Window & Rowbottom out, for Goldsworthy, Barnett & Heath & $200K ITB.

Risky, but I like the rejig. Means I have to nurse Kos & Brown for another week, but I'd like to see another from both anyway. Fully expect Kos to not be named though, but she can't lose cash and hopefully another couple of rookies pop up to target next week.

Anyone concerned on Rentsch with Schilling now gone for the season, feel like a magnet move may see her less in the middle? But BE would be fine for this week regardless.

Yeh, they said during the Brisbane game, players wouldn't take possession of the ball because if they were then tackled, it'd be called HTB, so players were just tapping it on or kicking it off the ground. I didn't watch the game, but could explain their low fantasy numbers.

I watched the Crows game and the umpiring was ridiculously inconsistent with HTB. At times, a player had just picked it up, was immediately tackled and then called HTB. No prior. Then at other times, Noffy tackles a player and you'd think it should be HTB, but it wasn't. Even when players were dispossessed in a tackle, it wasn't called. I was finding it difficult to understand the new HTB rule. I felt it should've benefited Noffy more, as she is usually the one to lay the tackles, but she barely got any frees from them, despite this new rule. Could've just been the Vic bias though.

I'm not sure what was going on with Rowbottom. In the past, she was often a short kick marking target. I remember she got a lot of points from this. I can't see her becoming a 80 type player, because she did give away a bunch of free kicks that game. The main concern with her is she will drop in price. I have this issue with Stannett. She's probably a 40s kind of player. Do I keep her as she's a green dot and will outscore Kos, or do I trade her and Window and miss out on a rookie I want.

Zarlie has incredibly high TOG. I doubt there is any other player in AFLW or AFL that has higher TOG than her. Surprisingly, I've never actually owned her in fantasy. Just never had the cash to get up to her. She mostly played midfield last year, but her overall fantasy scoring dropped from the year before. She can be a tackling machine as she's strong. If she manages to kick a bag of goals, she'll definitely ton up, but if she gets 100% CBAs, it's unlikely she'll kick a bag of goals. She might get 1 or max 2 as a full time mid. It still makes her the #1 forward option though. Molloy kicked 4 goals for her 88.

I watched some of that game and Rentsch is a tackling machine. She is too good not to have in their midfield. Hopefully they don't move her.

My exact trades but was going Painter over Heath for the cash gen, but maybe i just go Heath for the points.

Finding the right Parker replacement is tough, so much choice but all have pros and cons

Purcell and Hanks (favorable fixture but neither have been full time Fantasy scorers, and are prone to constant 60s)
Hill (could have a Sherar type breakout year in the midifeld but is in a developing team, but could benefit from the new rules consistenly meaning she could be a ball magnet)
Bonicci (Pies bias but she may be too pricey)

Gonna hold Charlie as Whitfort will be back this week and she scores a lot better when she's in the team

Purcell, Hanks and Hill all look like having breakout seasons. There's been a bit of discussion on Twitter about the three, quite a few have them pegged to lift their average into the 100's.

I love the look of Hill, Carlton while developing look exceptionally well drilled, it's something that really stood out at our praccy. But man the Melbourne fixture is tasty as.

Yeah it is, already have Heath (and Pearce in the ruck, who I can't upgrade to anyone yet unfortunately)

GrantSpatchcock what's your opinion on Kos? With O'Dowd expected to get more ruck time next matchup, will Kos have a spot in the team? Where else does she play? Or will she just get reduced TOG.
It's genuinely a giant big question mark.

She's a rookie, so we've never seen her do anything other than the ruck role. In Gaelic she plays midfield, but that doesn't really translate, and she's way too tall for the fwd type Staunton role.

I ain't ever seen her train or warmup outside the midfield pack.

If I had to take a guess, I'd see O'Dowd as R1 with one of Davies/Kos on the bench, but probably Davies given she's a utility/fwd now. I'd bring Taylah Levy into the roaming Goldsworthy role, and throw Goldsworthy into the Parker role.

I think she's likely to be dropped, they have to be looking at this as one of the two or three winnable games, they can't much around.

That's disappointing. She was an automatic trade out if Window wasn't injured.

Teams out.

Vikki Wall included on extended bench for the Roos.

Whitfort also in for the Suns, will be interesting to see what impact she has on Rowbottom who I think has done better with Whitfort than without? I might be giving her another week then.

Levy in for Giants - looked good in the praccy so she may take up some of the CBAs from the missing Parker.
